Fragrances are an all time important additional. Even Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) accentuated the importance of smelling nice and used to make an extra effort to smell nice for his wives.
It is all right for us to smell fresh in public however, the use of fragrances that are too strong is frowned upon especially when the scent can be enjoyed by non-Mahram men.
At home however, fragrances can set all sorts of scenes with the spouse as they are pleasing to the senses.
