Headscarves represent the controversy of the whole concept of Hijab. In fact the word Hijab and Headscarves are used interchangeably.
For Muslim women, wearing a Hijab and draping it across her chest represents more than just a symbol of faith or identity for as a part of the Muslim community.
It reflects a Muslimah carrying out her religious obligation towards Allah by fully embracing His decree. Women who wear the Hijab are proud of who they are and do not feel intimidated to dress differently from what is portrayed through the mainstream media.
The Hijab is also available in different colours to suit the occasion, mood, cultural background of the different Muslimah.
Women who don the Hijab may choose from a range of patterns, embroidery, designs, fabric and textures to suit their tastes and determine which style provides them the most comfort when on the move. Mixing and matching with different outfits too can be fun!
