Jilbabs have special mention in the Qur’an.
"O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their [jalabib] over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.“

Thus it is the Haven’s opinion for every Muslim woman to own a Jilbab.
Traditionally in black, they have evolved into an assortment of colours and fabrics to suit different Muslimahs around the world. Traditionally too, jilbabs were featured mainly as a one piece clothing. However, as of late, designers have reconstructed the idea of a jilbab as a two piece suit to accommodate women who need to move around aggressively. The two piece suit provides a long loose jacket to cover the upper body coupled with generous trousers for the Muslimah on the run.
The two piece suit is also loose and airy and amongst the favourite for working women and full time mothers alike.
